SHIPPING POLICY
The shop is based in England, United Kingdom. International orders outside of the UK may be subject to custom charges or/and taxes. Please be advised these charges or taxes are the buyers responsibility to pay. Any fees or custom charges incurred are not the responsibility of the shop or the author, Lilith Roman.
Products that are in stock will be shipped between Monday – Wednesday, within 5-7 working days from when the order was received.
Products that were out of stock, but were backordered will be shipped Monday – Wednesday, within 2-3 weeks from when the order was received, as I await for stock to arrive.
Backorders will be processed just as “in stock” orders, payment will be taken at the time of ordering, and an email will be sent once the order has been shipped.
Order confirmation and shipping notifications will be sent to you via email. Please ensure you check your spam folder if it is not present in your main inbox.

PARCELS OVER 2KG
International orders that weigh over 2kgs will be split in multiple packages, under 2kg each. This will save on shipping costs, as international courier delivery is quite expensive. The Shipping price quoted at Checkout is the correct shipping price and has already been doubled. Please note that most orders tend to be under 2kg.
Example: International Economy shipping for 5x My Kind of Monster, weighing altogether 3.5kg will be split in two boxes/mailers. Each parcel will cost £14.25 to ship, and the Shipping cost quoted on the Checkout page will be £28.50.
If your order has been split into multiple parcels, you will be notified of this via email. If you would prefer to receive your order in one shipment, via courier, please email shop@lilithromanauthor.com before placing your order, a new shipping price will be quoted, and you will receive an invoice for the shipping price. Failure to pay this invoice within 24 hours will result in the cancellation of the entire order.
RETURNS / REFUNDS
Due to the personalized nature of the products ALL SALES ARE FINAL; they are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable. Exceptions will be made where errors have been made in the signing of the books/bookplates, or where the books (not valid for Scratch&Dent) have been found to have big faults, like large misprints that affect the quality of the product. Please email shop@lilithromanauthor.com within 24 hours of delivery and include a photograph of the issue. Please do not contact on social media regarding order issues.
Books purchased from the Scratch&Dent section are advertised as having faults. Usually this includes misprints, scratches, dents, printing faults, that will not affect the ability to read the book. These books are not subject to exceptions and the sales are final.
Please be advised that “Lilith Roman Books” is not responsible for the packages that have been damaged or lost in transit by the mailing service/couriers. Please access the Royal Mail links above to check the maximum shipping times or to log a claim request. This is not a common situation, it is not one I have encountered so far, however it known to happen.
